Building a Legacy
Farm raised food, handcrafted goat milk body care, and farmhouse goods from our family to yours. Come see where it all comes from.
Everything we sell comes from the work happening here every day, from the milking stand to the kitchen table.
The eggs, the soap, and the bread that leave the farm faster than we can restock them.
Rooted Legacy Farm is a faith centered family farm built on a love for God, family, animals, and the simple value of knowing where the food and products your family uses come from.
We raise dairy goats, chickens, sheep, pigs, and other livestock with care and purpose. Behind every product is our family and the daily work of farm life: milking goats, feeding animals, gathering eggs, making soap, baking, and filling orders.
Our name reflects the heart behind everything we do: remaining rooted in what matters most while building something meaningful to pass on to the next generation.
Every animal here has a name and a person who checks on it every day. Good care is not a marketing line for us, it is what we believe stewardship looks like.
Four collections, one herdshare, and a family that answers the phone.

Pickup happens at the farm by appointment. If you cannot make it out, ask us about local delivery and we will see what we can arrange.
Yes. Cottage foods, bulk meat, and holiday items are pre order only, since we bake and pack them fresh for your pickup day.
We confirm your order first, then send payment details. Nothing is charged automatically when you place an order on the site.
Buying a share makes you a part owner of the herd. As an owner you are entitled to the milk your animals produce, and we care for them on your behalf.
A quarter share is about a gallon a week, a half share about two, and a full share about four. Volume rises and falls with the season and where our does are in their lactation.
Please do. Members are welcome to come out, meet their animals, and watch a milking so they can see exactly how the herd is cared for.
Give us thirty days notice and we will buy your share back at the current rate. No penalty, no hard feelings.
On pasture, with shade, clean water, quality hay, and daily hands on care. Every animal here is known by name and checked every single day.
We do not use growth hormones. If an animal is sick we treat it, because that is good stewardship, and we hold its milk or meat back for the full withdrawal period.
Yes. Look under Farm to Farm for doelings, pullets, and breeding services. We share health records and background before anything leaves the farm.
The cream and natural fats in goat milk make a gentle, moisturizing bar. Members of our own family with sensitive skin use nothing else.
They are made in our home kitchen under Texas cottage food law and are not inspected by the Department of State Health Services. We label every item clearly.
Unwashed eggs keep for weeks on the counter and longer refrigerated. Meat stays frozen until you thaw it, and baked goods are best within about five days.
It does. What is available follows the season, the garden, and the herd, so the shop looks a little different through the year.
Our family does, together. Chores, milking, baking, soap making, and order packing all happen with the whole household pitching in.
We love hosting visitors by appointment, especially herdshare members and families who want their kids to meet the animals. Reach out and we will set a time.
It means staying rooted in faith and family while building something worth handing to the next generation. Faith first, family always, building a legacy.
